Introduction

The Iqra Girls’ School is the first, full-time Islamic Girls' Secondary School in the historic, academic city of Oxford. It was established in 2003 with the objective of providing full-time secondary education to girls within an Islamic environment. The school provides full National Curriculum subjects as well as a full Islamic Studies curriculum.

Currently, the School caters for years 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 12 students from a variety of backgrounds, ethnic origins and nationalities and has recently expanded to cater for year 12 students this academic year (2008-09), offering a variety of A level subjects.
